Joy – Cheerful Essential Oil Blend

Joy… Just when you seem to grab hold of it, it’s gone as quickly as it came! How are we ever to find lasting joy? The world offers so many bandages for our joylessness, yet it offers no cure. Is there even a route to happiness or is it simply a dream that everyone chases yet never catches? During my husband’s illness and after he left for heaven, all my joy had been drained. I was left feeling depleted and without any hope of ever finding joy again.

A number of oils have been blended together lovingly to create the amazing smell you will find in this little bottle of Joy essential oil. It is a smell I want you to remember—together with the story I am about to share with you. Embark on this journey with me to a room filled with joy!

One day I sat down utterly despondent, feeling like joy would forever remain out of reach for me. Then, suddenly, I saw Yeshua with my spiritual eyes. He asked if I would be willing to take a walk with Him. I got up and we started walking through a beautiful lane with evergreen trees lining the sides. The grass was green and everything felt peaceful. As we walked, I wondered where He was leading me, but I didn’t ask, as I knew I could simply follow Him wherever He might take me. Suddenly we were in a place that felt like a room to me. Although I was still surrounded by the most beautiful nature, it felt like an enclosure. As soon as I entered the place, joy filled my whole being. I was stunned and still had no idea where I was. I finally decided to ask Yeshua where he had brought me. His reply was that He brought me to a place where I could find joy. I was delighted to realise that He had made provision for us to be able to come and collect joy from Him! He knew that on this earth our joy would be depleted time and time again and that we therefore had to have a place to refill. I sat down on the grass and as I rested there, I could continually feel joy entering my being.

I invite you to take a deep breath now, close your eyes and open your heart for Him to let joy enter your being as well. He will flood you with His joy, His everlasting joy! As you feel joy enter your being, embrace it all, for you are welcome to stay and remain connected to joy. His joy is available at all times. We simply have to practice living on this earth while at the same time staining connected to the heavenly realm. Joy is so much more than just joy…

This is not the only route for us to follow. Following Him in the spiritual realm might be something new to you. At one stage it was new to me too. I had to spend a lot of time practicing and trusting Him to help me reach back into the heavens, which He had created for us. He works in many ways. I remember Him coming to help me again another time when I was feeling down and depressed. I was sitting in our living room, depleted of all joy and hope. I missed my husband—and the life we had planned. I was reading a book on communion, which explained that when we take communion, we should not only focus on consuming the physical bread and wine, but also the spiritual. In the spiritual, it is Yeshua we are to partake of. I stopped reading and started pondering this concept like never before. As this amazing wonder filled my mind, I ran to the kitchen and grabbed some bread and wine, inviting Yeshua to become a part of me and to fill me with His joy. He was faithful! Joy flooded my being as I consumed communion in the physical, while at the same time “consuming” Him in the spiritual. What a wonderful tool He had given us! Communion had always been something extremely powerful to me, yet here it was taken to the next level, beyond my wildest hopes and dreams. He had given us Himself, and we can come at any time to embrace Him, to fill ourselves with His being. Let Him fill your being. Let Him become your joy! Accept the joy He brings, for it is the true joy that no one else can give.
